The Words and the Bees is a collection of poems for children all about bees, written by some of the world’s most recognisable and revered humans to save one of earth’s most recognisable and beloved insects.
The project’s title plays on the important conversations that all parents have with their children. Through these poems, our goal is to inform the next generation of the importance of these amazing little creatures, create a platform for dialogue about the importance of honey bees and pollinators, and create a bond early in life that ensures a bee-friendly future.
